HELP & SUPPORT

Help and support

If you are looking for support or information, you can make a careful initial inquiry. Share only what is necessary, using a channel that feels safe for you.

Choose a safe channel

Use an email account or device you can safely access. Consider who else can see your screen, inbox, or messages.

Keep your inquiry brief

You can use an alias. Describe only the type of support, information, or referral you are seeking.

Set realistic expectations

Our team can consider inquiries according to resources and capacity. A response or assistance is not guaranteed.

A CAREFUL FIRST STEP

Make a careful initial inquiry

We seek to connect community members with appropriate services and support. Please do not include private locations, identification documents, health information, or detailed case histories.

WhatsApp opens a third-party service. It is not an emergency channel.

Make a careful initial inquiry

A small first step. Only share what feels safe.

This form prepares an email draft on your device. It does not send or save your message on this website. You review and send it in your email app.

Choose an inbox where receiving a response will not put you at risk.

Please do not include identity documents, health records, exact locations, names of other people, or sensitive case details. Maximum 1,200 characters.

Not an emergency service. Assistance and response times depend on resources and capacity.

BEFORE YOU REACH OUT

Before you contact us

Who is your current program focus?

Our current programs focus on LGBTQ+ refugees in Uganda, especially people facing heightened risks or barriers to shelter, protection, healthcare, and essential services. Our wider registered objectives also include other vulnerable refugees, asylum seekers, and community members.

Can you guarantee accommodation or financial assistance?

No. The assistance we can coordinate depends on available resources and organizational capacity. We may be able to share information or explore an appropriate referral, but cannot guarantee accommodation, financial support, a particular service, or an immediate response.

Do I need to share my identity or case history?

Not for an initial inquiry. You can use an alias. Share only a safe reply email and a brief description of the type of information or referral you seek. Do not send identity documents, health records, exact locations, or information about other people.

Where can I find your shelter address?

For safety, private shelter and operational locations are not published. The postal address is not a walk-in support location. Please make a careful initial inquiry instead.

Is email or WhatsApp completely confidential?

No online channel can guarantee complete confidentiality. Email and WhatsApp are third-party services, and devices or inboxes may be accessible to other people. Choose a safe device and contact method, and share only necessary information.

What does Quick exit do?

Quick exit takes you to Google in the same tab. It does not erase browsing history, downloaded files, messages, or information on your device. Consider your device and browsing safety before using any support website.
